To help us determine how many outreach events we should plan for this school year, please let us know the ideal number of hours you’d like to work each week and which days you’re available.
Please keep in mind that our Pro-D Day camps tend to fall on Mondays and Fridays, while outreach events typically take place on Saturdays. Most shifts are between 5–8 hours in length.
If you’re also interested in helping us run classroom workshops, please indicate that in your availability as well. Classroom workshop visits are typically full-day shifts anytime during elementary school hours and will be scheduled around the availability of those who are interested in participating.
Training Availability:Training is mandatory for all successful applicants. Tentative training dates are September 19, 20, 25, and 26; October 2, 3, 9, 10, and 17, from 10am–4pm. Dates and times are subject to change based on the completion of the hiring cycle. The dates listed provide the admin team flexibility with scheduling, as not all dates may ultimately be required.
Please indicate any scheduling conflicts you have with the tentative training dates in the Additional Availability Notes section. Applicants who have significant or multiple conflicts with the mandatory training schedule may not be eligible for consideration, as attendance and participation in training are required to ensure all staff are adequately prepared for the role.
In addition, it’s completely okay if your interests or availability change throughout the school year. This information is simply intended to help the admin team plan ahead and get a sense of overall availability.
