About the Instructor
Deepak Rout brings 20 plus years of varied professional experiences in government and corporate sectors including IT & IT Enabled Services, Telecommunications, Finance, and Consulting. He has been working primarily in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management and Leadership roles. He has fulfilled several leading corporate organizations across the world in technology leadership roles across multiple industries in both Government and Corporate sectors.
In the last 14 years, Deepak has fulfilled a variety of roles in the corporate arena in the domains of IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity and Privacy right from being an Security Operations analyst to a Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer managing global teams and large programs.
Deepak has fulfilled several full time and part time instructor roles in his career. In the military, he taught about advanced concepts on application of digital technologies, and their protection. In academia, he has been a guest faculty at several reputed institutions including George Brown College at Toronto, New York Institute of Technology at Vancouver, and SP Jain Institute of Management & Research at Mumbai.
Deepak is particularly invested in talent transformation and bridging the gap between classroom learning and business/workplace realities with a view to make young professionals hit the road running when they start their careers and become successful at the earliest.
