Exercise 4
In this exercise, you will write a short technical explanation and practice using citations correctly.
Pick a topic you like from computer science and write an explanation of it for a student who is just about to learn it in a course.
Some possible topics (but you're certainly free to pick another):
- Abstract data types vs implementations of them.
- Agile development.
- Unit testing.
In your explanation, you must (1) use at least one direct quote, (2) include at least one paraphrased passage from a source document, and (3) cite at least two different sources. The length should be maybe half a page, but I'm more interested in you writing a good explanation (and meeting those requirements) than the length.
You should give inline citations (footnotes or similar) where you use sources, and include a corresponding list of references.
Submitting
Save/export your work (explanation with reference list) as a PDF. Submit the file to the CourSys activity Exercise 4.
