When a quiz is based on an assignment, the quiz mark will replace the assignment mark, if it is higher.

Low marks on assignments and quizzes will be replaced by the final exam mark on a percentage basis. For example: if your final exam mark is 60%, then a mark of 3/10 on an assignment will be changed to 6/10. Only marks that are lower in percentage than the final exam percentage are replaced. This also applies to missed assignments and quizzes.

However, a low mark assigned as a penalty for academic dishonesty will not be replaced.

Late Policy

Late assignments are accepted until a final late deadline set by the instructor. The late penalty is 2% per day applied to the mark awarded. For example, a mark of 8/10 with a late penalty of 4% (> 1 day, <= 2 days late) is 7.68.
